Quantum Professional Search was founded in 1984, with a focus on placement of sales, presales, sales management, and executives in the enterprise software industry.  Shortly thereafter, another team was added to meet sales needs in the non-technology pulp/paper, manufacturing and industrial sectors.  Our focus would be on providing a personal, consultative service to our clients without wavering in our utmost commitment to a strong ethical foundation that would become a hallmark of our corporate culture.

Over the years, Quantum has done just that — gaining a national reputation for being a leading provider of quality people and employment services to software and IT services companies of all sizes and  technology competencies.

In 1988, Quantum launched a new division that took a “blended services” approach to staffing local business and meeting their unique needs  in a way that was unheard of at the time.  The core business philosophy was to create a positive and seamless customer experience in providing a managed process for supplying permanent, temp-hire, and temporary employees by assigning a dedicated, single-point contact to the account, thereby eliminating internally based commission and competition structures that had once created confusion and conflict for the customer.   The goal was – and has been ever since – to not simply be a delivery agent, but rather a trusted adviser and partner to our clients in helping them leverage their hires in a way that aligns with their, company vision, goals, and culture.  The result has been a fiercely loyal customer base that has grown through the years.

Core competencies in this group are in front and back office administrative positions which include all office support personnel, customer service, data entry, light accounting, and other related positions.

In 2009, Quantum added additional cloud based employment services to include SkillCheck technology testing and assessment, and Quantum’s Performance Solutions Service that objectively assesses your employees marketplace skills, aptitudes, and work approach to help companies make better hiring selections and build highly effective, efficient and compatible teams.
